For this home site, we excavated a large flat pad to be used for the future home and shop site with enough room to turn around a truck and 40-foot trailer.
The lot was situated on the side of a hill with a native slope of approximately 17%. Over 4,500 cubic yards of material was excavated to create a level building site at the top of the lot. This particular site offered exceptional views of the Palouse landscape with its ever-changing patchwork of colors. The project also included a 900-foot driveway that transversed the hillside up to the building site.
